We reported recently that IT Minister and Panchayat Raj K.T.Rama Rao said that Telangana Rashtra Samithi can be rechristened as Telugu Rashtra Samithi. And now this has been mocked by all Political parties. Especially Telugu Desam Party reacted immediately to KTR's statement.
A.Revant Reddy who is the working president of TDP has lashed out at this. He is quite often known for KCR bashing and now as he got the chance, he never wanted to miss it. He said he wanted to know whether they will change the name of their party office from Telangana Bhavan to Telugu Bhavan.
He said, "This is clear that KTR has made this statement just to attract the voters in Hyderabad. If he's so concerned, will he change his party office name from Telangana Bhavan to Telugu Bhavan?"
He also asked KTR and his father KCR to give an apology letter for calling TDP as 'Andhra Party'. He said Seemandhra people will not trust such gimmicks by TRS before GHMC elections.
