Venkaiah Naidu runs a trust named as 'Swarna Bharat Trust'. This was founded at Nellore in 2001. The trust was inaugurated by Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Recently 80000 Sq.feet was allotted for this trust which was run by Venkaiah Naidu and his friends, near Athkur in Vijayawada.
The trust was built with a motive to improve rural India and also to promote Indian values and cultures. The motto of the trust is Gandhiji’s dictum 'back to villages'. But with this motto everyone were surprised.
Because Chandrababu Naidu grabs all agricultural lands he can. Venkaiah Naidu stays as an accessory to this. So what about promoting Indian values and culture ? Just false promises. So are these trusts are just used to make money ?
An inside source said, "These trusts are used for money transfer. Based on form 8G, when money is transferred through trust funds, the money will not have any tax deduction. So this trust is just used for that purpose basically. A trust not to be trusted."
