As we all awaited, the final results are out regarding the TDP and BJP alliance. The final day was yesterday to announce the candidates and number of seats. Both the senior party leaders were discussing a lot and there were lots of meetings during Sankranti holidays.
Both the parties demanded for more seats. BJP was so stubborn with 50-50. Finally it was ensured that TDP will get 90 and BJP will get 60 seats. The nominations were filed yesterday. Both the parties addressed a joint press conference and they made it official regarding the seat sharing.
The candidate list was also announced. The ruling TRS was first to announce its two lists on Friday. In the first list, it announced 60 candidates and in second list 20 candidates. The final set of 70 seats was announced yesterday noon.
Now a political analyst said, BJP is happy with this 60 seats. Because down south, BJP has less power and with or without TDP it is not going to make difference. As they are with TDP now, things can get better for them.
