TDP under Chandrababu opened doors to scores of Congressmen both before and after 2014 elections just to ensure that they don’t knock doors of Jagan and add to his strength. But in a way this has created two new groups in TDP, namely the original TDP batch and then ‘Congo’ batch meaning they are all from Congress!
Rayapati Sambasiva Rao recently said that he was free bird when he was in Congress and these days he is not at ease in TDP. Chandrababu Naidu has been giving Rayapati a dressing down for his controversial and high handed behaviour.
Recently, he had invited CPI national leadership, when they were in Guntur for party's national executive meet, for a special dinner. This upset TDP which questioned why did he extend an invitation to the CPI. Rayapati also lashed out at Babu during a meeting recently.
The attitude of JC brothers is also well known. There are reports that all Congressmen in TDP are all set to form a pressure group soon, to demand what they want from Babu and get their works done, without inference of pre-existing TDP leadership and cadre!
