Given the vast presence of the country and the states, it is very important that the administration has to be done from the grass root level and sitting at Hyderabad, no one can know what is happening in remote areas of Andhra Pradesh. For this, the constitution has got the local body elections.
But then it is being reported that the congress party has stopped conducting the local body elections and many villages are today absent of Sarpanchs. Cooperative elections are also important and usually the central government grants a fund of around Rs 2000 crores for that.
Due to the non-availability of this, the villages are now facing other issues such as sanitation, deforestation and lack of basic amenities. As a result of proper guidance and administration, many from the villages are coming to cities and towns and this is creating a major scarcity of resource in agricultural sector.
