Southern Railway will cancel some train services between Chennai and Gumidipoondi on January 21, 23, 25, 28 and 30, February 2, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25 and 27, and March 1, 3, 5, 8, 10 and 12. Mark the dates as railway services will be suspended during those days.
The changes were made to allow railway technical teams to carry all repair work on Chennai Central - Gudur Section. Below are the trains which will be canceller partially.
The Chennai Beach Gummidipoondi EMU local (42601), which leaves Chennai Beach at 9.40am, will be partially cancelled between Enoore and Gumidipoondi. It will be turned back from Enoore to Moore Market Complex (MMC) railway station as a passenger special.
The MMC-Gummidipoondi EMU local (42015), scheduled to leave MMC at 10.25am, will be partially cancelled between Ennore and Gummidipoondi.
