Yesterday we reported Smriti Irani's points with respect to the dalit scholar suicide. But she faced mmore criticism for distorting facts with respect to the Dalit scholar suicide. Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are accusing Smriti for lying to clear BJP Government's name.
So far 10 professors from University of Hyderabad have resigned their posts with respect to suicide of Rohit Vemula. Now fresh allegations came on the centre and it sparked outrage.
AAP leader and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal met protesting students at the campus and he took a hit against Smriti Irani for speaking lies. He said, "The death of Rohit Vemulla is a shame to India and society." Kejiriwal also met Rohit's mother who was protesting in the campus demanding justice.
Similarly Twitter trended with hashtags #StopLyingSmriti. On other hand Congress has demanded Irani to speak the truth. Earlier Smriti Irani said the issue is not about Dalit and Non-Dalit. Some miscreants are blowing the issue out of proportion. Students are saying the University is having lots of politics within.
