Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu who is currently in Switzerland to attend World Economic Forum meeting has planned for a 'Secret' tour to Singapore. But Chief Minister's Office said there is no such schedule to Singapore.
But reports say that Naidu will directly move to Singapore fro Davos on 24th of January. The sudden visit to Singapore has surprised everyone in TDP circle. Even senior officials of Andhra Pradesh Government were surprised with this decision.
An inside source said, Naidu is going to Singapore to meet some architects who are designing Amaravati city. At the same time another set of source said, Naidu is visiting Singapore to strike a deal with Singapore companies on constructing new capital Amaravati.
But it is a must that to award construction works, Government must allow tender and then choose the companies. But Naidu is planning to reward the constructors from Singapore. Chandrababu also agreed to extend the lease rights over government lands to Singapore companies for 99 years as demanded by them.
