Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting his constituency the fifth time after being India's Prime Minister in May 2014. He met the people and he gave a speech. Some of the highlights are listed below,
• Modi gifted electronic aids to differently challenged people in Varanasi.
• He also flagged off Mahamana Express train in Varanasi
• He said he was deeply saddened by the Bus accident which took place at Varanasi
• Modi promised that Government will make arrangements for treatment. He also said Government will provide financial aid.
• At a recent speech, Japan PM Shinzo Abe spoke about Kashi, Maa Ganga and his thoughts during the Aarti. His words will make every Indian proud
• Before being a Prime Minister, I said our Government will always be there for poor and for the people who face struggles. Now are there for poor people. We are consistently thinking about how development will reach the poor and how the lives of the poor will be transformed.
• We need to change our mindset. We should not see what is lacking in a person. We need to see what extra ordinary quality the person has.
