Sources say that a new survey which was conducted very recently is all set to give some confidence to the opposition parties in the upcoming GHMC elections which may become a neck to neck fight.
Till very recently, it was predicted that there would be a very easy ride for the ruling party. But this may no longer be the case. There are reports that TDP is quickly catching up with TRS in this tally with BJP complementing the efforts.
Sources say that TDP-BJP combine would be getting seats on par with TRS. But the game changer again would be the 30 odd seats that will be secured by MIM. TRS may steer towards safety with the help of the MIM and votes of MLAs, MLCs and MPs that constitutes ex-officio votes of the region.
