Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha finally took all steps where people can ensure their grievances can be sorted out at the earliest. People just need to dial 1100 at any point of time in the day.
Now similarly to reduce Auto woes one can dial 1800-425-5430 and register all your complaints against Auto rickshaw drivers. Action will be taken immediately against every one of them. This latest initiative was most welcome by people as most of the drivers just demand more money for covering few kilometers.
A report said 34% of complaints were reduced after this Toll Free scheme. From October 2015 to third-week of January 2016, the helpline received 499 complaints from across the state but officials attended to less than half of them.
In Chennai alone, 342 complaints were registered and officials have responded to one hundred and nineteen of them. Other parts of TN, Officials responded to 115 complaints out of total 157.Every Auto driver will face an amount as fine in order to not repeat it again.
