Tamil Nadu is often known for producing unemployed graduates Every year the state produces more number of graduates. On a short note, the number of Engineering colleges also has been raised.

Tamil Nadu figured in the last sector, alongside Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh. One of the leading expert said, "Colleges are just teaching students to mug up and spill the same stuff. They are not teaching conceptual and problem-solving skills.

A report says only 8% of students in Computer Science department has the skill to write Programs for companies. Delhi has less than 100 engineering colleges but they are quality institutions. It's time Tamil Nadu makes some Quality education rather than providing more number of institutions."
