Every time the Congress party was written off, it had somehow
managed to bounce back and came back to fore on the national stage with a
reckoning. Again there is a fear in BJP that the Congress may be
staging a comeback of sorts.
In this regard,
there have been few murmurs that when the time is ripe, YS Jagan Mohan
Reddy may strike a deal with the Congress party to somehow merge his
party and protect his interests. Until now, BJP had high hopes on Jagan
and was using this card against Babu subtly.
But
as time is progressing, sources say that TDP is losing patience and has
been pressurizing Centre to expedite his ED and CBI cases. ED is
expected to soon do the same but CBI has to take the investigations
against Jagan’s assets to a logical conclusion soon.
In
this regard, everything now depends on how sooner can Babu convince
Modi to reliably take some quick action against Jagan so that even
politically his party can be finished by next elections in 2019. So,
right now it is all about wait and watch for everyone!
