The battle for Baldia seems to have some dramatic conclusion as there is a delay in counting of votes. Everyone eagerly await the results as it is going to decide the Political fate of most of the parties and individuals.
In an unexpected manner, the State Election Commission (SEC) ordered re-polling in Puranapul division and this re-polling will take place between 7am and 5pm. This also has forced authorities to count the rest of 149 divisions after 3pm. 1333 candidates are keeping their fingers crossed as electronic voting machines (EVMs) are finally opened for counting ballots.
All eyes are on the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) as they have higher aims to claim the post of mayor. During previous GHMC council they never even had a single Councillor to represent the party.
MIM which had 43 members shared power with Congress (55 Councillors) is now hoping to do the same again. The party which contested from 60 divisions is looking forward to claim the Mayor post in the 150 member council. Both Congress and TDP-BJP fielded their candidates in all 150 divisions.
