Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has got a huge victory in the upcoming GHMC elections. The victory was something phenomenal and the spot light was on the next mayor of the city. There were lots of speculations as there were more aspirants who were lobbying for that post.
Now we hear from reports that two names are in race for the post of Mayor. They are TRS youth wing president Bonthu Rammohan and Gadwala Vijayalakshmi, daughter of TRS general secretary K.Keshava Rao.
But as we reported earlier, Vijayalakshmi is facing heat as she got settled in USA for 26 years. So chances are high for Bonthu Rammohan. Seri Subhash Reddy who is the political secretary to chief minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao said, "There are lots of aspirants, but the post belongs to one person.
But there is more time before we talk about the mayor candidate since we are in a celebratory mood. The party leadership will take up this issue next Tuesday." He also said this will be a collective decision of the party. Finally he said KCR's son K.T.Rama Rao will have the final say in this issue.
