Nara Lokesh who is son of Chandrababu Naidu doesn't have any official designation in TDP so far. He is neither an MLA nor an MP. But still he presides all cabinet meetings of Andhra Pradesh whenever Chandrababu Naidu is away. And this paved way for lots of criticism.
But still there was no change in this mechanism. He is now crafted to be the next TDP president. He will be the TDP President in 2019 and from Chandrababu's point of view, he is the next Chief Minister too.
So he needs to contest in Assembly polls. So a safe constituency is being shortlisted for him. Chances are high that Nara Lokesh will contest from Penamuluru in Krishna district. This is a strong hold for TDP.
And if TDP can consolidate the position, Chandrababu Naidu himself might make way for his son and he will contest from some where else. But the discussion is still going on and an official word is expected soon.
