In what is being seen as a careful and orchestrated campaign which went on for many months, if not years, TDP Legislator party leader and senior TDP leader of Telangana, Errabelli Dayakar Rao has quit Telugu Desam Party after 30 years association.
In fact, he is believed to be the reason why around 20-30 top leaders of Telangana TDP, including Nagam Janardhan Reddy left the party. He seems to have worked as a covert for TRS especially in last one year. T-TDP leaders cautioned Babu who didn’t believe them.
Errabelli Dayakar Rao reportedly convinced Babu that he will don the mantle of leadership for the party in Telangana and started dominating the scene. He is the one believed to have apprised TRS regarding Revanth negotiating with Stephenson.
Most of Telangana TDP leaders who quit couldn’t bear his dominating attitude any longer. He is the one seen as the reason for weakening TDP in its once stronghold of Warangal district in the region. Babu seems to have been shattered hearing about this high profile defection!
