A 26 year old girl along with her boy friend created a ruckus and they misbehaved with police personnel after they rammed a two wheeler. The couple were riding on a Mercedes Benz SUV and they rammed motorcycle. This injured two riders. The incident happened at Connaught Place's inner circle.
Police filed a case and they said both of them were completely drunk and they used foul language at the Police. Injured bikers and passers by stopped them from fleeing the accident scene. Both of them also threatened everyone.
The girl in particular threatened everyone that her father was a Senior Crime Branch Officer. She also abused doctors and other medical staff at RML Hospital when they were taken for medical examination. Women also tore some official documents which belonged to the investigating officer.
Jatin Narwal who is the Deputy Commissioner of Police said, "The medical reports proved that the alcohol content in their body was beyond permissible limits." Based on one of the injured bikers, a case was registered under Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act.
