Yesterday we reported that Bonthu Rammohan was elected as new Mayor of Hyderabad. Now he said that he would prioritize city's infrastructure including roads, storm water drains and sanitation in the city. He said this would definitely help the city to reach global map.
He said his vision is to bring Chief Minister K.Chandrasekar Rao's dream's true. Mayor also said he will bring all departments such as Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, police, electricity and Hyderabad metro rail department under his radar.
He spoke to media and said, "Municipal minister K.T.Rama Rao has gave orders for municipal departments with respect to development of the city. We begin with 100 days plan for the civic body."
Earlier, Rammohan's Mayor post was first proposed by Venkateshwara Colony division corporator Manne Kavitha and seconded by Meerpet division corporator Golluri Anjaiah. For post of deputy Mayor, it was proposed by Ameerpet corporator Sheshu Kumar and was supported by Ramnagar corporator Srinivas Reddy.
