Finance Minister O.Paneer Selvam today presented the interim budget and as expected Opposition parties including DMK, DMDK, Congress and others walked out of Tamil Nadu Assembly. The Opposite parties said they were denied to speak on important issues.

They said that AIADMK Government is just using the interim budget session as a 'Self praising' session. When Speaker P.Dhanapal called Finance Minister O.Paneer Selvam to present the interim budget for the fiscal year 2016-17, Opposite party members raised various issues.

But Speaker denied permission and members walked out of the assembly. DMK Leader MK Stalin who met media said, "The overall debt remains 234.98% higher than previous DMK regime. This interim budget is not going to benefit people of Tamil Nadu by any means.

But the ruling party is not even ready to raise the issue." DMDK MLA Chandrakumar said, "The administration is completely paralyzed here. It's time for the Chief Minister to vacate her seat and take care of all the party affairs. Tamil Nadu is facing deficit of 36750 Crores."
