Former Media Baron Peter Mukherjee was charged with murder, destruction of evidence and criminal conspiracy by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the Sheena Bora murder case. CBI has submitted a charge sheet against Mr.Mukerjee in special magistrate's court.
Mr.Mukherjee and his wife Indrani Mukherjee were the prime accused of murdering her daughter Sheena bora. The CBI investiagated the case for a while and finally with conclusive evidence they have jumped to the conclusions.
Mr.Mukerjee was questioned by CBI for two weeks and later he was sent to Arhtur Road Jail. Earlier it has to be noted that Sheena Bora (24) who is Mukerjea's daughter was in a relationship and she was strangled in a car and her body was burnt and dumped in a forest in Raigad district.
The issue happened in April 2012 and it created ripples in social media. Mumbai Police who were running out of clues handed over the case to CBI and after lots of inquiries CBI has found Mukerjea was guilty.
