Recently there has been a cold war between M.Karunanidhi's elder son MK Azhagiri and other party members. Soon after hearing the news that DMK is keeping alliance with Congress, Azhagiri said to media that this party will taste huge defeat and the alliance with Congress is one of the worst ideas.
He also mocked Congress party. This caused more ripples inside the party. Everyone condemned Azhagiri. But once again he said, this alliance will make way for ADMK to win easily. Immediately M.Karunanidhi requested party members and party leaders to ignore his speeches and comments.
He also ordered everyone to stay calm and ignore his words. But now Azhagiri has responded back to Karunanidhi's allegations. He said, "I have worked hard for this party. I should worry about this party. When the party is going on a wrong path, I should be responsible for pulling it back to the right lane.
No one can question me inside the party. I have strived hard for this party. Everyone knew how much hard work I have invested for this party. I have been thrown behind bars just for being a part of this party."
