The crimes against women are increasing each day. Women are often becoming victims of Acid attacks and Rapes. Now one such incident has taken place at Anantapur district. Some unidentified persons have threw acid at a girl at Husbanad area.
The victim was said to be studying second year in a local college. Witnesses who saw the mishap said, the guys were coming on a cycle and they just threw acid on her face. The girl got burns on her neck and face. The passers by immediately took her to nearby hospital.
Police reached the spot and they registered a case. Police are inquiring the case and the motive behind the attack is not clear. Police from Hindupur are suspecting that this could be work of the stalkers. Now the condition of the victim is stable and doctors said, the concentration of acid was less and she doesn't need any Skin grafting.
She will soon return back to normal life. But the whole area panicked and tension prevailed throughout following the acid attack. Police have also formed a special team and they have got CCTV footage from opposite shops.
