Due to JAT Quota sitr, trains have been cancelled and Railways has promised to give full refund to all passengers for cancelled trains. Indian Railways has already sent a text message regarding the cancellation of trains. Indian Railways will give full refund to passengers for cancellation of trains due to the Jat quota agitation.


A spokesman from Indian Railways said that there will not be any deduction for this 'cancellation of charges' and a complete refund is granted. Passengers who made online reservation will get the refund back to their accounts.


The amount will completely be refunded within three working days. For paper tickets refund, the passengers must fill in the refund form from passenger reservation centres.


Due to closure of Delhi-Ambala-Chandigarh main line for the past few days, railways will this evening run a special train from Chandigarh to Delhi to avoid the mad rush. This train will depart by 1600 hours and will take a longer route. This will go from Chandigarh to Anand Vihar via Saharanpur, Meerut and Ghaziabad.
