Telangana Government is making all efforts to take back three acres of prime land which is located in NTR gardens. Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is sending various authorities to ensure that the land is returned back.

The land was leased to a car firm and later it was made as a platform to either buy or sell pre-owned cars. HMDA demands that the lease was given in an unlawful manner in November 2006 for a period of two years without any open tender method. Lease amount was fixed to be Rs.4.5 Lakhs per month.

This land falls within HMDA's Budha Purnima Project, Tank Bund area. The lease period was over by 2008 and still the company settles there safely. It's high time for them to relocate.

According to HMDA authorities, they had even given the firm a 4-acre plot opposite to Sanjivaiah Park at Necklace Road in August 2010 on a 10-year lease. Apart from this land, three acres of land comes under main site at NTR Gradens. The lease period ends for them and authorities are now tightening the screws.
