Mega Star Chiranjeevi, former Union Minister and Congress MP from Rajya Sabha has been silent and staying away from active politics eversince the crushing defeat of his party in the last general elections.Infact he stayed away from party activities and instead concentrated on returning to silver screen.
He appeared in a special role in his son Ram Charan's Bruce Lee and is now getting ready for his 150th under the direction of VV.Vinayak.In the meantime he surprised all by remembering his adopted village and visited his native place Mogaltur in West Godavari district.
He visited his adopted village Perupalem and laid foundation for two community halls and donated Rs 5crs and started development work with Rs 50lakhs.
Even though Mega Star didnot come to the village for quite sometime, supporters and fans received him cordially and even erected a huge cutout welcoming him. This came as pleasant surprise to even Chiranjeevi too.
