In what is being seen as a big blow to Telangana Congress,
Telangana CM KCR has started Operation Congress, which is expected to
become bigger in the coming days. Clearly, the Congress is deriving no
benefit with its bold gamble of granting Telangana.
Sources
say that DK Aruna, the firebrand Congress woman from Mahabubnagar is
facing heavy pressure due to fines imposed on her family’s mining
business and the government takeover of her precious land in Jubilee
Hills, Hyderabad.
She may be given in-charge
for Gadwal region after accepting her demand for a separate district for
Gadwal. Geeta Reddy and Jana Reddy only need a final green signal to
join TRS, according to sources in media.
The
Congress high command is very much worried over the rumours and has been
gathering more credible information. But inside sources say that the
party has been lamenting over how it is being emasculated after TDP’s
turn in the heart of South Central India.
