Indonesia is quite known for prostitution and sexual desires. Indonesia is the place where most of the Islams live in. Now the Government has decided to shut down all Red light areas once and for all. Indonesia has been the hub for prostitutes and all sexual needs.
Most of them prefer that as the hot spot for sexual desires. But right now various steps are taken in order to bring them down. The Government even stopped providing license to these centers. Already by 2014, Surabaya district closed all Red light areas. That has been the biggest city in Indonesia.
And after that, 68 Red light areas were shut down. In this case, Jakarta which has been the capital of Indonesia is also shutting down all red light areas. The Governor has ordered all red light areas to stay closed.
As per the orders, Police have closed all red light areas and the women who worked were sent to rehabilitation centers. A police official said, "This action will continue throughout the nation. Within three years, we will completely shut down another 100 Red light areas. Before 2019, we will make the nation clean."
