In what was seen as another setback to the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh,
one more MLA has reportedly switched his loyalties to the ruling Telugu
Desam Party Jayaramulu, MLA from Budvel in Kadapa district, met CM
Chandrababu Naidu today and formally joined the TDP.
The
legislator added that he was very much impressed by the development
works being undertaken by the TDP-led government, while stressing that
nobody influenced him towards TDP.
Jaganmohan Reddy accused Babu of engineering defections and thundered saying
that this would only prove costly for the TDP leader. Recently four
MLAs and an MLC of the only opposition party of AP decided to join the
ruling party.
Jagan had said a week ago that 21
MLA’s of TDP are in touch with him and he will bulldoze TDP government
anytime. Now TDP seems to have set an ambitious target for itself by
taking 21 MLA’s of Jagan camp plus one more!
