Well it looks as if all the stars are now set against YSR Congress party president Jagan mohan Reddy these days. While he is crying hoarse regarding the poaching of his party MLAs by the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh, there is a bad news for him in Telangana too.
The lone YSRCP MP from Telangana is reportedly toying with the idea of joining the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi. The YSR Congress party MP from Khammam region, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, also the party president in the Telangana State, is expected to join the TRS sooner or later.
Ponguleti reportedly enjoys excellent relations with other TRS leaders in Khammam district and he seems to be under pressure from TRS to join the party, since it will only strengthen the party further in Khammam district. Ponguleti is also not that happy as many of his works are not getting done in his constituency !
He now wants to formally join the TRS, rather than merely maintaining friendly relationship by still continuing in YSR Congress. Ponguleti is expected to join the TRS either before or after the completion of Khammam municipal elections.
