Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha took a hit against DMK party and she said another story about the issue of 'Family Rule'. At the same time she also mentioned about the welfare measures her government had implemented in last five years. She told a story about a King who wanted to appoint his successor.
After narrowing it down to two suitable candidates, the king gave an equal amount of gold to both and asked them to use it well. One used the gold to buy ornaments for his son and daughter. When the King asked if the man had other children, the man said that he disowned the rest.
She clearly said with a reference to DMK's first family and M.Karunanidhi's first spouse. The second man distributed the gold among a hundred poor people, which enabled each of them to take up a trade and elevate their status in society. This story clearly spoke about M.Karunanidhi.
She also said it was her government which brought 'No Power Cut Situation' in Tamil Nadu. Finally she thanked supporters who gathered on two sides of the road despite the scorching sun to welcome her.
