In South India, film stars becoming politicians is very common and
even Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is one among them with his new party
Janasena. Time and again, he reiterated that he is here to question TDP
and BJP if they don’t deliver.
Now it has more
or less become clear that BJP leadership is not that interested in
lending all the support for Andhra Pradesh. Pawan also stated earlier in
his twitter feed that if BJP doesn’t grant special status and special
package, his response will be different.
With
Jagan unable to capitalize on Babu’s failures and Babu unable to
question Modi openly, the turf is left open for Pawan Kalyan to take the
plunge. There is a need for PK to do the needful now as he was the one
who steered the alliance to power.
If Pawan
galvanizes public opinion, then indeed people of AP will be ready to
rally behind him and start a new movement. In the interest of future
generations, this is the right time and a last golden chance because if
he fights again before elections, it would be only an election stunt and
nothing else.
