There has been no regular Pharmacy practice in Hyderabad. There were lots of Do's and Dont's but none of them follows it in real. Not even Government is taking any steps to adopt it. As per reports, Most of the medical shops who has 'Pharmacists' were unqualified.

In fact, a shocking report says that more than 27000 medical stores in state of Telangana doesn't even have hundreds of qualified pharmacists. None of them don't have the required qualification to hold the post.

But KCR has recently made it clear that Telangana has 55,000 qualified pharmacists, only a few thousand are employed by pharmacies. Dr.B.Chandrasekar who is president of Doctors Welfare Association said, "Many stores, just to avoid the fees prefer to employ unqualified people at a cheaper rate.

These workers are ready to work for wages between Rs.6,000 - 8,000 for 12 hours. The Medical shops are also happily accepting the fact. This has to be stopped by the Government and strict rules should be enforced. But so far neither the Government nor the Telangana pharmaceutical society raised concerns about it."
