People of Telangana and political analysts cannot forget the stellar role played by Osmania University professor Kodandaram. He united political parties,NGOs,students from various universities to make Telangana movement powerful in such a manner that Union Government had to bend and form Telangana state.
He and TRS chief KCR played important role but Kodandaram after the formation of Telangana unlike all others who entered active politics after playing key role in Telangana movement, chose to stay away and lead a peaceful life.
Kodandaram's selfless attitude should be appreciated and his words should be given importance. However much to the shock of all he was completely ignored and insulted.
Kodandaram who remained silent recently consoled
family members of TJAC vice president Mahender Reddy who passed away in a
tragic road accident. He said those who are not associated with
Telangana movement became MLAs and Ministers while those who played key
role are not getting any importance.
