The Telangana’s State Finance Minister Etela Rajender has introduced the state’s third budget on March 14th, Monday. When he addressed after delivering the budget that no Andhra Pradesh Ministers have sanctioned 10,000 crores for the state to the Telangana for the past ten years. Etela said the budget is formulated to fulfill all the needs of the people. 


The budget for the fiscal year 2016-2017 is as follows. The total estimated budget was 1,30,415. 87 crores, the planned expenses were 67,630 crores, and the unplanned expenses have come up to 67,785 crores and the fiscal deficit is 23,467.2 crores.


The surplus revenue is 3381 crores. As per the budget the sum allotted for the rural development and Panchayat Raj is 10,731 crores, for Irrigation department and Kaleswaram project a sum of 25,000 crores an 6286 crores were allotted. For SC, ST and BC Welfare an amount of 7,122 crores, 3752 crores and 2538 crores were sanctioned.


For the welfare of Women and Childcare nearly 1553 crores were allotted. For Asara Pension scheme nearly 4603 crores and for farmer’s waiver nearly 3718 crores were planned and for the minority welfare around 204 crores and finally for Brahman Corporation a sum of 100 cores were sanctioned in the recent budget.
