The Chief Election Commissioner Nazim Zaidi has made a guarantee to conduct the polls at West Bengal from April 4th which will be free and fair and the opposition parties have urged the poll panel authorities to make an operation which involves some leaders of the ruling Trinamool Congress.


The opposition CPI (M) leader has said they have pleaded the poll panel authorities to take severe actions against the TMC Leaders. He said the CEC has made a promise that he will look into the problem and the Congress Leaders have also come with the same problem during the meeting with the poll panelists.


Meanwhile the representatives of Trinamool Congress have met the CEC authorities with some suggestions and the CEO has agreed to look into the matter. The senior TMC Leader Mukul Roy has made a complaint against the poll panel declaration of the six phase elections which will be held at the earliest.


Meanwhile the EC has come to Kolkata to see the arrangements which is made to review the poll work. The CEC has instructed the people to conduct the poll on free and fair basis and the people need not be scared while voting in the polls. The CEC will also meet the DM’s and SP’s and other dignitaries and the media persons on March 16th.
