High Court has promised to monitor the cleaning of Musi river and its beautification work. The High court has also directed Telangana Government to submit its action plan and other details related to cleaning of the river and its beautification process by 21st of March.

The bench which comprised of Chief Justice Dilip.B.Bhosale and Justice P.Naveen Rao heard the PIL filed by a social activist. Petitioner requested HC to direct Telangana Government to form a body similar to that of Sabarmati River Front Development Corporation to ensure there is a speed process in cleaning of the Musi.

Petitioner's counsel B.Rachana Reddy also said that the Union of India suggested a joint action plan by all three authorities, HMWSSB, GHMC and the HMDA.

The cleaning process will start soon after the action plan is submitted to High court. However the big question is will the Government obey HC orders and submit the action plan on 21st or will there be any more delay in the process ?
