The Finance Minister of our country Arun Jaitley has said that Vijay Mallya has not absconded from India and he said every single penny will be collected from the liquor baron and it will be returned to all state owned banks.
Mallya has to pay nearly 9000 crores which he has got from 17 banks which belong to the state government. Arun Jaitley has said it is the duty of the enforcement agency or investigation department to recover the huge amount which is indebted to our country.
Jaitley has said each and every government agency will take serious actions against Mallya and the Banks will recover every single penny from him. He further added Mallya has escaped from India on a default basis of bank loans of more than thousand crores.
Jaitley also said that the State Bank of India has taken steps to seize and make an auction of the Mallya Kingfisher’s residence at Mumbai. The SBI has taken this action to get at least a portion of the loan amount,and they are also planning to get the rest through means of Kingfisher Airlines.
