The Honeywell Aerospace on March 18th was selected by the Jet Airways to do the maintenance work for Auxiliary Power Units (APU’s) to its flight 10 Boeing 777 airplanes. The agreement was made for a period of five years which will help the Jet Airways which will be useful for the maintenance work to be done and it reduces unscheduled timing and increases the reliability of airplanes.


The announcement was discharged on March 18th, Friday at the India Aviation 2016, which is the country’s civil aviation show which is organized this year 2016. This new maintenance service agreement will reduce the servicing cost and the fight machine will be latest updated, which will help reduce unwanted expenses and improve the performance.


Arjit Ghosh, the President of Honeywell Aerospace India has stated their maintenance services will definitely reduce the unanticipated cost which comes due to unscheduled removals as well as the speed up will be done for B777 plane. K.M.Unni who is the chief operation Officer of Jet Airways has said the present plan will help the maintenance service plan will enable them to concentrate more for customer satisfaction.


The Honeywell will provide compressed air to the main engine, electrical power to the plane, to the cockpit and hydraulic systems during the flight. With more than five decades of experience in the development of APU’s Honeywell will help the Jet Airways to an increasing global network which is felt and Honeywell approved field technicians.
