The Election Commission has taken steps to make advertisements, campaigns, skits, cultural programs, issuing of pamphlets. The steps are taken to ensure 100% votes in the forthcoming Assembly Elections in the state. The Election Commission has started the first level of campaign.
The first level was organized successfully by giving awareness to the people to cast their vote, through campaign on vehicles with LED screen and the campaign will move to all the areas of the city and the districts.
Each district is given a vehicle with LED screen and the vehicle will move to all the areas in a particular locality and give awareness to the public to cast their vote and get 100% votes for this upcoming assembly elections. The vehicle will stand for few minutes and it will move to the crowded areas where people are seen in large number and also to the beach area.
By the time the commission has filed nearly 652 cases against various parties for illegally painting pictures of leaders, flying banners and posters which is against the rule of model code of conduct. As per the news from the reporters it was said out of 1,82,188 complaints which were received, nearly 93,868 cases were closed as the wall paintings and scribbling were removed. Nearly 9.39 crores cash was seized by various officials.
