The TDP has been facing an existential crisis in Telangana but
since the party is in power in Andhra Pradesh, luckily it is able to run
its course with flexibility. But one has to see genuinely whether TDP
is doing what is right in actress cum YSRCP MLA Roja’s case.
The
public pulse so far has been mixed with many still supporting TDP after
hearing what she spoke about a lady MLA in Assembly. But again given
the series of blunders and inefficiency, if TDP is unable to handle this
properly, it may backfire in future.
Roja
was stalled from entry into Assembly yesterday even after receiving
court orders but many feel that she should have been allowed and then
TDP could have taken a new decision since the matter is pending in the
court.
There are reports that TDP is all set to
fire her for 3 years from the Assembly regarding her misdeeds. But even
Roja could apologize and set her record straight but rather than doing
this, she is also only exploiting political mileage.
