Actress turned MLA RK Roja who just got a relief from High court
three days ago seems to have landed back in square one. Sources say that
the latest ruling by the Hyderabad high court has quashed her dreams of
political resurrection in Assembly.
Today the
court in response to a petition filed by Assembly secretary has kept
aside the stay which was given on her suspension from Assembly three
days back. In a way to sound sympathetic, the privilege committee of AP
Assembly gave fourth chance to Roja.
It has
been announced that if she attends personally before the committee and
tenders her apology she will be let off and she can attend Assembly
proceedings. Now the ball is in her court and it would be interesting to
see how she will respond.
There are reports
that this is a compromise formula mooted by BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju
who had also earlier mediated during a similar occasion. Sources say
that Jagan is also considering the proposal of apology to escape the tag
of anti-Dalits being foisted onto YSRCP!
