The YSR Congress party has been picking up in strength with many leaders from other parties joining it. Keeping up the momentum, the party heads planned for the Padayatra and named it ‘Maro Praja Prasthanam’. At first, Y S Vijayamma did one part and it was taken over by Sharmila.
But now, Sharmila is down with surgery and it would take three weeks for her to recover, as per sources. The party’s chief Jagan is in jail and there is no one to look after the party affairs. In this situation, all eyes are now shifting towards Y S Bharathi, wife of Y S Jagan. Till now, it is heard that Bharathi was taking care of the family businesses.
The political part was being taken care of by Sharmila and others. Vijayamma is growing old and she is not being burdened unless necessary. With all this happening, it is heard that all the leaders in the party are looking towards Bharathi to take a call. Whether Jagan will field Bharathi in this or come up with an alternative has to be seen.
