A conman who has been stealing money from people at ATM centres was caught red handed by S.R.Nagar Police. Police trapped him and finally caught him red handed. A Senior Police Official said, "D.Siddesh who is a native of Kurnool used to target people who doesn't know to use ATM machines.
He pretends that there was a problem with the machine and he used to tell the victims to hand him the cash which they wanted to deposit and he promises to make transaction from his ow account.
Soon after getting the cash, he never makes transfer to the person the victim wanted the money to be sent. He has involved in a cleverly planned crime. Siddesh has been already registered as an accused in three cases at various Police stations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Police said he was trapped based on CCTV footage which is recovered from SBI ATM at Balkampet, SR Nagar. Police also revealed that he has cheated Rs.70,000 so far. He was taken into custody.
