The angry kith and kin of around 27 students and faculty members of the University of Hyderabad were picked by the police officials three days ago also teamed up and made a protest on Friday. The family members and faculties have demanded the immediate discharge of those who were arrested.
The teachers had witnessed the arrogant act of the police officials and have fought for justice until the Vice Chancellor is dismissed from his position. Those who were arrested were taken to Cheralapally jail late after keeping them at various police stations across the city.
The family members have said that neither the police nor the university officials have answered their queries regarding the issue. A parent has said he has received informations only through the social media about his son.
Father of Deepak has said since his son’s arrest he is following the news in the Face Book as no police authorities and the university officials aren’t answering his questions. He has blamed the university officials for the present situation. The student’s parents and family members have appeared for the safety and future of their wards.
