We know Jagapathi babu is against caste feelings. While many objected his daughter’s marriage happened with a foreigner he supported his daughter as he knew that his son in law s a very good person.
Recently, in a function in Sidhartha College Vijayawada, he said to principal that he would talk about ‘Kamma’ caste. His principal threatened that the college has ‘Kamma’ domination and they will behave enraged if anything goes wrong. But he spoke on the stage very convincingly and intelligently against castism. He advised students not to go with caste feeling where students responded with claps.
He also continued that principal objected his thought of speaking about ‘Kamma’s. “If you feel this is wrong you can kill me’ he said to the students. Everyone appreciated Babu’s speech. He said that many people call him to attend ‘Vanabhojana Mahotsavam’ on the name of caste where he didn’t attend. He rejects caste based meetings or dining Jagapathi babu said.
