Sweeping out 34 year reign of CPM in West Bengal, Mamatha Benarji gave a death blow to this party with its tremendous success in 2011.

Will left front come to rule the state after five years controlling Mamatha? Will BJP sustain in the flow of ‘Trunamool congress’? Did BJP gain people hearts in these two years? 2016 elections in West Bengal is going to be held in 6 phases, 7 days electing 294 representatives.

Mamatha got fired on election commission that it is a lengthy period of 7 days. Usually in Tamil Nadu, Kerala elections are held only for one day. Opposition complained about the law and order control in the state that’s why EC took more time, and conducting elections in phases.

As in Tamil Nadu politics, like DMK, this is a life and death problem to left parties in West Bengal. That is why the left front included the weakest congress also.

BJP is not the main opponent in West Bengal elections. But to gain control in Rajya Sabha, this is a life and death problem to BJP also. It tried to befriend TMC where Mamatha denied and decided to compete independently like Jayalalitha. There are many corruption allegations in this 5 years where problem of ‘Sarada Group’ is one.

Sports and Transportation minister involved in2,500 crore Sarada deposit scam, Madan Mitra is in jail and putting steps forward to compete once again from ‘Kamarhati’. 200 companies are involved in the scam. Though there are several traps around Mamatha, she is blindly supporting Maadan Mitra and trying for his success from ‘Kamarhati’. But the victims of the Sarada scam are in thousands who belong to middle class and lower middle class families.

Bengalies have regional feelings and people with independent mentality. According to the survey conducted by many channels, TMC has chances to win nearly 200 seats. Results of few surveys are yet to come.

It seems left front and congress will face bad situations after elections. BJP’s number may be one or none if compete independently.

In 2011, out of 24 seats TMC got 184 (39.8%), Congress got 42 (8.91%), CPM managed 40 seats  (8.2%), others 28 (15.06%).

In 2014 Lok Sabha out of 42 seats, TMC got 34 ( 39.2%), Congress got 4 ( 9.7%), CPM 2 seats qnd BJP 2 seats.

Oppositions are using powerful weapons. Moreover, the monarchy of Mamatha in party is  disturbing unity of the party.  Mamatha may face problems with them in future.

Left Parties- From Congress Deepa Das Munshinsi ( Wife of Priyaranjan Das Munshini) and from BJP Chandra Bose ( Nephew of Subash Chandra Bose) are giving competition for Mamatha from Goda.

Chandra bose says in speech that for a change people elected TMC in 2011. To fight with this corruption, BJP is coming forward to develop the state.

After seeing the results in 2014 elections, few channels announced that BJP may win 57 assembly seats. The final judgment is given by people only.
