The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) Thol Thirumavalavan has said the actor turned politician and DMDK Leader Vijayakanth to declare Vijayakanth as the chief Ministerial candidate of the third front and the VCK Leader has said Vijayakanth has shared the ideals of the leaders of the PWF’s constituent parties.
He spoke in an interview with Kolappan has dismissed the criticisms that the Third Front has presently encompassed the DMK and PWF is the formation of the ruling AIADMK Party. When questioned to him about DMK who has come forward to give 500 crores to DMDK Party, he said he doesn’t like to express his opinion on the issue and Vaiko will face it legally.
He said the Media should support them since they are providing the much needed alternative but the Media is propagating a baseless allegation. He said he has no problem in supporting the DMDK for the post of Chief Minister as the DMDK has agreed with the issue on prohibition, eradication of corruption and a coalition government.
Whether it is DMK leader Karunanidhi or AIADMK leader Jayalalitha he said he has to maintain distance from their cadre. But in the PWF there is bonding among the leaders and friendly feeling has developed down to the cadres from grass roots level.
