The Former Governor of united Andhra Pradesh and ex-union Minister for home affairs Susheel Kumar Shinde has explained about the assault on University of Hyderabad students as a result of the centers “Hitler Raj”. Shinde when he was speaking to the reporters have demanded the VC Appa Rao’s resignation and has urged the central government to put a stop against students who are studying in central universities.

Shinde has also made a visit to the Cherlapally jail, where the 25 students and two faculty members are kept. When he spoke to the students some have shown him their injured bodies which were made by the brutal police officers and few have told that they were forced to sign in some papers by the policemen.

Shinde blamed the VC as he could have resigned after the suicide of Dalit Research Scholar Rohith Vemula. He said the VC’s return has spurted the students’ reactions and his return was an elaborately planned scheme. He has asked the police officials to arrest the VC under the SC or ST atrocities act before attacking the students.

Rohit’s mother has also said that the VC did not have the courtesy to meet the worried family members in the Dalit Ghetto a day after Rohith committed suicide. She needs both the central and state government to enact Rohith Act so that such incident never happens again. Few students have made a complaint with Shinde. Amir Ahmed a PhD scholar has said Rohith’s death wasn’t a suicide, but it was an institutional murder.
