The US President Barack Obama has urged nations to do more to make prevention from the Islamic state group has obtained the needed material to make a radioactive dirty bomb. Obama spoke in a nuclear security summit in Washington as there is a consistent and persistent threat of terrorists conducting a nuclear attack.
In the US capital more than 50 world leaders have gathered in the summit and over the past two days to discuss about keeping the extremists from gathering radioactive materials and other nuclear threats. Obama has also added that the needed 102 countries have now signed in an agreement to an atomic security treaty which will tighten the protections against nuclear thefts and smuggling.
When Obama was speaking at the Nuclear Security Summit, he has told that working together our nations have made it harder for terrorists to get their hands out of nuclear materials. He also has mentioned a proof that extremists who have linked to the Paris and Brussels attack has taken a senior manager for a Belgian Nuclear Facility.
Obama also added that a bomb which contains fissile material as the size of an apple could be catastrophic and a small amount of plutonium would kill thousands of human life. Obama gave a final speech at the summit and has stated that their prime focus is building up the military at the cost of the economic development.
